Winning players from the 2026 World Cup Final will receive championship rings, FIFA announced.

The captain and head coach from the winning team will first receive temporary rings after the finale Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. Each of the 30 permanent rings for the winners will be customized and presented later.

FIFA said the award will bring “one of the most recognizable American sporting traditions to the global game.”

Top-ranked Argentina will attempt to become the third team in history to successfully defend a title Sunday at New York-New Jersey Stadium. They will take on favored Spain in the matchup, featuring Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, among other soccer sensations.

The World Cup rings will feature the FIFA World Cup trophy on one side and the other customized to reflect the identity of the winning country.

In addition to the 30 team rings, another 1,996 will be available to fans worldwide. Prices are not yet available for the keepsakes, and they are not shown in the FIFA store. The store currently offers pieces of grass from the field where the final will be held, luggage, replica trophies, scarves, hats, shirts and more.

The Argentines and No. 2 Spaniards will play at 3 p.m. EDT Sunday in East Rutherford.
