Los Blancos (11-2-3) sit in second place in the La Liga standings, four points behind rival Barcelona (13-2-1).
Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who trained inside Tuesday with Mbappe, defenders Dean Huijsen, Eder Militao, David Alabam Dani Carvajal, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ferland Mendy are among Madrid’s other injured players.
Los Blancos will host the Sky Blues at 3 p.m. EST Wednesday at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. They will take on Alaves in another La Liga match Sunday in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
